So Im going to put this out there. No I dont think replacing pork with Halal variants is wrong. It is done in communities where most people will only eat halal meats and is never demanded by the community. If I lived in a community that only ate pigs that were tickled to death I would expect the shops to predominantly sell that meat and the schools to serve it to kids. I know people who object to the way halal meat is killed, but Ive never seen them claim shops and schools stocking it over non-halal meats was wrong, so I dont understand why people have a problem with it.
