So Im going to vent for a minute. It really frustrates me to see how the news seems to only want to cover the bad stuff that happens at Poston Butte, there truly is a lot of good athletes and scholars in our school there are positive things that take place there although most of you wouldnt know it. Yes this teacher has made some bad decisions yes there was a boy that raped girls and they are both big things that shouldnt have happen at all but if I felt for a minute my children were in harms way I would have changed schools 4 years ago. You know they never acknowledged our first day of school only Chandlers with tons of 1st day of school pics so what if we live out where there are farm fields Im sure us parents want to see how the traffic is or hell our kids on TV. But the only way to make the news is with negativity. I will say this and I know it for a fact my kids have and still are getting a better education down here than they would have ever got from the Globe or Miami school system I know they are getting the tools in life that will take them to the next level. So in closing I have no regrets where my kids are today. Just wish the news would put some positive news feed about them once in awhile 💁
