So, Im having a down day. Probably the worst in years. Im so concerned about our money situation and things just dont seem to be coming my way to improve the situation. A few weeks ago, while I was making an appointment to go on a temple date night, I thought to ask, How do you become a temple worker? The sweet lady on the phone put me right through to the temple president. He told me that, just that day, he had asked the workers to be on the lookout for some laundry volunteers (for after baptisms) and that I would be perfect for that, if I were interested. Absolutely interested. So, I spoke to him again today, told him Tuesday nights would work but my bishop has been sick for a few weeks and hadnt filled out the necessary paperwork. He said, Ill get it from him Sunday and you come say hi to me after church. I was confused (they live in Spokane). I said, Wait, youre coming to my ward on Sunday? He said that yes, they were already scheduled to speak to us that day! He also said that there were always miracles like that in the temple. I think Im looking forward to that. (He didnt know what ward I was in until two days ago!) I was about to paint my nails black to match my mood but I changed to sparkly pink instead;)
