So Im in the deer stand reading my Kindle. Im reading Spiritual Warefare: Fighting Demons by Scott Meade. In it he refers to 2 Peter 2: 20-22 If they’ve escaped from the slum of sin by experiencing our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then slid back into that same old life again, they’re worse than if they had never left. Better not to have started out on the straight road to God than to start out and then turn back, repudiating the experience and the holy command. They prove the point of the proverbs, “A dog goes back to its own vomit†and “A scrubbed-up pig heads for the mud.†(2 Peter 2:20-22 MSG) Mr. Meade says that this simply means that if you have accepted Jesus as your savior, and you later change your mind and go back to the way you were living prior to becoming a Christian, then you will eventually pay for it. I pray to my daughters that they will repent and come back to The Lord. I have never felt that you could loose your salvation. Im not sure that what Peter says here is that, but it is definatly not going to be good for anyone who has known God and turned their backs on Him to go back to sinful living. I live you all and hope that this helps you today. God Bless!!!!!!!
