So, Im looking at my Facebook page and I see the empty Status Page where it says whats on your mind and so I think... Whats on my mind today is the fact that I am trying to concentrate on my family and the tons of work I am behind on, but I keep drifting off to thinking about the world and all the painful things happening around us. From the genocide of ISIS to Ebola, to a troubled teen opening fire in a public school killing innocent children, to a Canadian solider being gunned down in broad daylight, to police being massacred by a man yielding a machete, to the tragedy of parents finding their childs remains after being brutally murdered, to hundreds of other highly disturbing incidences going on in the world. I almost feel guilty being in my little bubble and not being able to help in a big way somehow. The world is in such disarray and I fear for our children and what is to come. So many people in need. If I could just be a full time philanthropist I would be in my glory. Unfortunately, Im not quite there yet, but working on it. Just a friendly reminder that every little bit helps. Please do whatever you can to help someone in need, even if its a small gesture. The world and humanity is in need of dire help. Just venting...
