So Im not a historian. Im not Jewish. Im not Muslim. I dont have a dog in this fight. But I have been saying for years that so much of the conflict and violence between nations in our world has been caused by those beholden to the will of god in one way or another, often in direct violation of gods will. And as such have always lamented the failure of religious leaders to rise up and condemn the actions of the politicians blaspheming their faith. If this guy is on point, and given my ignorance of the subject thats a solid if, he is a role model for religious leaders across the globe, including here in America where religion seems to be playing more and more of a role in politics.
