So Im not usually one to get involved in this kind of stuff (frankly, I think the side that claims its a bust and the side that claims its the greatest are equally...deluded), but something occurs to me I think is worth sharing. How many people will be attending Freaknight for the first time? How many of those same people werent at Paradiso 2013? How many dont live near enough to Seattle to see Headhunterz or Griz when theyre at a club show? We always see the complaint They were just here! as if there arent new people every day that discover Kaskade and want to experience him live. Its pretty selfish to think that Freaknight has a BAD lineup just because you as a person have been lucky enough to see these people already. Not everyone has. While that doesnt inherently make it a good lineup, imagine youd never seen Kaskade but couldnt at one of the most special events of our NW EDM year because a small but vocal minority would rather see someone you havent heard of yet headline. That would be the real disappointment in my humble opinion. Alright. Carry on.
