So, Im on week 2 of antibiotics for SIBO (2 different ones simultaneously) and theyre kicking my behind. I used to take at least 2 rounds of antibiotics every single year as a kid for sinus infections and whatnot. But, its been several years and my unsuspecting gut isnt happy. Anywho, grateful for modern medicine for times its necessary and horrified we overprescribe these machine guns for the gut. Longer update will definitely come to the blog. I see a lot of probiotics in my future. :) If youve had SIBO and have any advice for me on a combo of SCD and low FODMAP recipes Im all ears! It feels like all I can eat is protein and Im not a cat! :P
