So Im sitting around here bored to tears and I decide to go fishing down at the pond. After looking through about 7 tackle boxes for a spinner bait, I finally found the one I wanted. After trying to tie it on for about 10 minutes, (because I cant see to run the line back through the loop ) I go get a pair of wal mart glasses out of my wal mart glasses stash I have in the shop. I get it tied on and use the scissors( from my scissors stash in the shop ) and cut the line off. Then I notice that the blade on the spinner bait is all rusted and corroded looking. Instead of quitting right there, I crank up the bench grinder and put a shine on that blade that would make a jeweler proud. All set, I walk out on the dock and make two casts. The skirt, that had dry rotted from lack of use, falls off !! I rolled it up and went back in the house and wrote this story. Tune in next week for Adventures in the Compound
