So, Im sooo lucky to have been raised to find beauty and interest in antiques and crafting. This past summer, I drove past a table on the side of the road and made Jason go back with me to get it. Even though we had no need for it, when I seen it, even in the dark, I knew there was something about it. I was going to craft it; sand it, stain it, probably sell it. Well, I decided to do some research on it tonight and Im SOO glad I did..but I need help getting further information on it. This is what I found. Its a Watertown Slide table. A corporation in the 1800s! Its stamped 1899-3. I have googled and searched and I CANNOT find the value of this piece. I found if I was to re-do it (its veneer) would cost me around $500. Can some of my antique interested friends try to find some info on it for me?! Would like to know if its a keeper! Thanks! YAY FOR TRASH PICKERS! :)
