So, Im starting something up in a week that I think is going to be a totally new experience for me. Im starting a home game comprised entirely of women with myself as the GM. About half the group is new to tabletop roleplaying games entirely, and only two of the experienced players have played Pathfinder before. We all know our hobby is primarily male-dominated, and it does reflect that in its assumptions about player behaviour and expectations. I expect the upcoming game to be one part gaming group, one part social experiment as all my prejudices and presuppositions are challenged by this group of women. What do you think will be different? Will I find Im treading mostly familiar ground, or will it be an entirely alien experience?
