So Im super excited about this week. Its a normal week for us with sports, activities, school, life, and of course the week ends with a soccer tournament. But a couple of things...and here come the tears..... 1. Its the end of the first 9 weeks grading period. When we moved here my kiddos struggled (especially the middle schooler) because hello.....7th grade? Girls? I remember that. It wasnt fun the first time and then reliving it through your daughters eyes? SO HARD! God has truly answered prayer in providing our daughter an AWESOME small group with two incredible mentors, a soccer team that challenges her and allowed her to grow as an athlete, and Hes worked a miracle (I dont use this word lightly) in her schoolwork. I am just so proud of the little lady she is growing up to be....despite the trashed room (but dont you dare tell her I said that because shell think thats permission to keep the room a pig sty). Our son is doing really well and has a great soccer team of friends and neighborhood buddies. We are so thankful for the people God placed in our lives. 2. I have a big trip coming up to Cali and Ill get to see people who have inspired me this past year and spend time with my sister and her family as well as my Cali friends. ThirtySomethingFashion is sending me a box of clothes for this event and Im just so excited that I dont have to go shopping and that I get to use her services! SO FUN!!! Never thought Id be asking someone to style me, but Im super thankful that Carly had space in her schedule! 3. I get to get creative with Big Orange House Designs this week which is SUPER EXCITING!!!!!! Check out her work because she is SO talented! Finding the happys in everything and excited to share my final 21 Day Fix Extreme with you all at the end of the week! WISH Chris was here to see all of this....he will be BLOWN AWAY when he gets home to a new house, and the changes in our kiddos. Praising GOD!
