So...Im sure the fiqures are more now, but The U.S. spent $8,233 on health per person in 2010...U.S. in 2010 health care costs ate up 17.6 percent of GDP...so someone please explain to me how allowing people to buy insurance is gonna make you pay any more than you already are...you spent $8233 pp in 2010 to take care of others without insurance and you didnt even know it..you paid your taxes and your tax $$s went to pay these health care costs...Id much rather my tax dollars go to help someone than to keep fighting wars and stockpiling combat artillery that is being built right now and because we have too many some of those being built are being sent to scrap yards before theyve ever been used!! Now thats a waste of my tax dollars!!...at the bottom of this news post is a very interesting fact list of countries that are keeping costs down by cutting out waste!! Whether measured relative to its population or its economy, the United States spends by far the most in the world on health care.
