So...In honor of #InternationalDayOfHappiness #HappyDay Im going to list a few things that make me Happy in no particular order... 1. Getting off the plane in Jamaica and inhaling the air. 2. Jumping in the ocean in Jamaica like the wild woman that I am. 3. Listening to select songs by James Brown, Sharon Jones, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Madlib, Prince, and countless others I could list but it would take up too much space 4. Something that I will respectfully note is none of your business but trust me, its a good one : ) 5. Knowing that God ALWAYS does & ALWAYS has had by back #THANKFUL 6. Knowing that I have evolved into the woman I want to be & that I will continue to evolve into an even greater space of my woman-ness in the future. 7. Mango, Coconut, and Lemon Body Oil 8. Representing SPELMAN COLLEGE WOMAN AROUND THE WORLD 9. Being a part of a Church that is the BOMB! Shout out to #GreaterCentennial & #PastorStephenPogue 10. My family of beautiful strong women folk! Shout out to my Momma & Sisters (R.I.P. To the woman who started it all, my grand momma). Weve been in this game for YEARS! 11. All the dope men folk in my life and family #THANKYOU for being MAN enough to handle a woman like myself : ) 11. My friends (special shout out to my bestie Nicole Bullitt) Weve been in this game for year. 12. Knowing that I was raised properly by my Momma and that I will never have rely on my looks to get ahead in this world #awomenaintwhatshewearsbutwhatsheknows 13. Knowing that I could go on and on with this post but I wont bc I have to get back to work : ) lollll ....a true sign that I AM BLESSED : )
