So Ive been drinking and thinking a lot tonight. About how much I have missed of Los Angeles and Southern California. The weather. The great people I have met. The fun I had when I lived there for 7 years with my ex who I truly loved. I had a television pilot of my own. I performed to a standing room only Belly Room on the second floor of The Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. I performed in sketches and did voice over work on the old Talk Soup on E! I worked on film sets and talked with Lindsey Lohan, Anthony Hopkins, and the amazing director David Fincher. I wrote a sitcom pilot with my two closest friends for NBC/Universal. I worked with great actors who believed in me enough to appear in my film projects! I had an amazing friend and cinematographer who filmed my projects. I had a short film headline and premiere in Beverly Hills the night before I moved away. I wrote many screenplays. I was a villain in a horror feature film that premiered and bombed at The Egyptian Theater on Sunset. I watched movies at the Arclight Cinarama dome. I almost hit Gwyneth Paltrow with my car. I drank at the SkyBar. I studied for Saturday Night Live. I got my real estate GRI in the first six months of being a realtor. I got my first modeling gig for Glamor magazine. I saw a beautifully stunning Cameron Diaz pumping gas in Beverly Hills. I literally bumped into Courtney Cox in a book store. I saw the most beautiful Catherine Zeta Jones cross the street in front of my car, dressed to the nines, as I mouthed, I love you ! I played softball every weekend in South Pasadena. I saw Oasis and Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young at the amazing Hollywood Bowl. I worked for various, amazing charities doing PR work. Watching games at Dodger Stadium. I went to JPL and saw mission control and the Mars rover. I went to The Magic Castle. I ran away frequently for a couple of days with my ex to Las Vegas and saw George Carlin, Paul McCartney, Circe De Soile The Beatles Love, and Simon and Garfunkel. I watched surfers, and Kerry Walsh and Misty May Traynor and Elaine Youngs play Beach Volleyball in Hermosa Beach! I went to Solvang for Danish food. I went to Napa Valley for wine tasting. I went to San Francisco and loved every minute I was there. And I went to San Diego a lot. In the winter time I could drive an hour up the San Bernardino Mtns, and ski. I could enjoy breaking news and watch car chases live on tv, which was a guilty pleasure of mine. I had the times of my life. And I did it all with my ex. And I gave it all up for her. Because she tired of it. And I truly loved her and gave it all up for her. Only to buy her the house she wanted back in PA, and wanted me to have a regular job. Only for me to lose her. Lose my car, my house, everything. Now I am set free. Free to go back to what I loved doing. Where I was happy. And I am so excited to be in that happy place again. I hope I find a love that loves what I enjoy this time around, and enjoy it all with me! I love the feelings and the possibilities I have before me, to start over, back to where I finally can call home. Where Im at my most comfortable. Heres to LA in July 2014! Namaste
