So Ive been in this training class for work all week thats held at my college alma mater. Besides knowing my ADD has gotten worse and I could never, ever again, sit in a classroom listening to engineers that love to hear themselves talk, I see all these college chicks walking around that couldve been me ten years ago minus the nose-in-smartphone thing. I want shake them and tell them that in 5-10 years, that 8 oclock class they struggle to get up for will be replaced by screaming toddlers at 4:15, and theyll never sleep late again. That they should enjoy only having to clean up their own barf, laundry, and wipe their own butts. That they should insanely enjoy having friends and just doing NOTHING but chatting and beer drinking. Oh and that flat stomach and getting away with no bra? Enjoy it honey, they dont make tube tops in bigger sizes for a reason. But then they would look at me like I was insane and old and weird. Anyone else resist the urge to say when I was your age to people that you arent much older than? Ash
