So, Ive been late to my Microeconomics class a couple times, but Ive always been let in. Today was special, though. I was one minute late to class and my teacher refused to let me in. He was checking a test and there was another girl outside the room waiting to be let back in, so when he finally opened the door for her 25 minutes later, I ask him, If I come in will I be counted late or absent? Then he replied, while half-smiling, might I add, Oh, youll be absent. So I replied with, Alright, whatever. Peace and walked off. Believe me, I would rather be doing a multitude of other things than be subjected to his awful teaching, but to be turned away for being slightly late makes me furious. I sincerely hope that this man enjoys the false sense of respect he derives from acting like his late policy means anything to anyone.
