So Ive been lax on keeping Facebook up to date on some of Hughs amazingness the last few weeks. Last week I was up in the middle of the night and checked on Hugh. HE was alert and looking around. I like to give him something to listen to if hes just really awake at night and I need to sleep. So I asked him if he wanted to listen to a book on CD. He smiled so huge!!! I was so encouraged, there are just moments when hes more alert and clearly communicating through his faces. I asked if he wanted Dr Suess...he just gave me his best poker face. King Arthur? Poker face. The Incredibles? Poker face. Ummmmm Happy Feet?!? HUGE SMILE! Perfect. He is so wonderful. It is so good to experience communication that clearly is making him happy!
