So Ive been studying Brian Hoyer and he is a curious case. He plays like a game manager, he is very efficient and doesnt make a lot of risky throws. He also doesnt turn the ball over which is good. From what I saw they put him in positions where there is a very defined 1st read. When hes in those situations he excels. However when the first read isnt there he has a tendency to linger on it too long. He throws a nice deep ball(67% on passes 21-30) ironically, even though he doesnt have the strongest arm(which I will explain if someone wants to know I know it sounds weird) He can be off on some of his short routes, which is partially timing, some size issues seeing over the line and poor mechanics as well.(55% on passes 1-20 yards) If you have a solid running game and good defense hes your Qb. But dont look for him to carry a team.
