So Ive been wanting to post an update about my good mare Styx that I sold this spring. And I want to give a huge shout out to Rose Thibault, who purchased Styx and their 3rd place win at their rodeo they went to this weekend. Rose has only owned Styx now since the middle of May and they are already getting together and pulling checks with room to still improve. You girls better watch out for this team!!! So stoked for you Rose!! It was one of the hardest days when you pulled out of my yard with my baby in your trailer. You took a little part of me with you, but I couldnt be more happy and grateful for the love and trust you have given Styx! Like we were talking today, she has always been so special in my eyes even before she was born, I knew she would be something great. And she came out running barrels!! In a trainers, well for me anyways, it is so so hard to let go of those that become dear to your heart, which most of mine do, and you have priced to me that this is why I do what I do! To make great horses, and to get them in the right peoples hands. I was real hesitant in letting her go, and I still tear up when I see videos of her, especially the one you sent today, but hearing the excitement in your voice and seeing how much That lil bombshell fires and tries her heart out for you, makes my heart smile that she went to the right home, a home that provides her with so much love, belief and confidence! Your only at the base of the mountain right now...you got a whole mountain to climb with her and I know that you know you two WILL get to the top in no time!! I couldnt be more lucky as a trainer, to have Someone like you to have bought my horse. I dont think you even know how much it means to me that you continue to update me constantly with texts and videos. You continue to let me be a part of her journey, apart of both of your journeys!! It truly is a blessing, you are a blessing!! Thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart! And dont forget to tell my baby girl everyday that I love her and miss her!! This video is just one of the videos Rose sent me of Styx and it days it all about her. It truly makes my heart smile!!
