So Ive been watching the news all day as I clean the house....and I am fascinated by the new hub bub about Chelseas pregnancy and that Republicans are now questioning her ability to run for President since shes clearly at the end of her political career at 66yrs old and will be a grandma. Really? Has having grandchildren ever prevented any man from running for President? Hell Sarah Palin had a gaggle of kids including an infant with special needs and a pregnant teen daughter. McCain ran for President at 72yrs old and has grandchildren. Bush Sr. was 65 yrs old when he became President. Jeb Bushs name is being thrown around as a possible Republican candidate....hes 61 yrs old with grandchildren. My point....I dont care if youre a Democrat or Republican...what I care about is the continued disparity and double standards when it comes to female candidates vs. male candidates.
