So Ive got about 8 minutes of videos from 6 GoPros but only need about 45 seconds. So rather than computing the stabilisation for the entire 8 minutes, Im thinking about cutting out the 45 seconds from each of the 6 videos before importing them into AVP. The following is a question I have been debating with a friend for many months - If I open a lossy file (e.g. H264/MP4), edit/trim it and then save it with the SAME settings, will the file be re-compressed by H264 and lose more quality, or not? So the question in this case it, can I trim the 6 GoPro videos without losing quality?
