So, Ive had one station I applied for a job with show some real interest in me. The GM has asked a few important questions that you dont really ask unless youre considering hiring someone. Hes also made a statement or two that shows interest in me, things you wouldnt say you unless, again, you were considering hiring someone. I could be completely mis-reading the signs and/or over thinking things in my hope of finding a job. I havent heard from the person since Tuesday, but Wednesday through Friday is basically a holiday/time off this week. I hope to hear from the station again early next week. That being said... this is an awesome station in a beautiful small town.. great format, very live, very local and has a good reputation in the communities it serves. Continue thinking positive thoughts or saying a prayer for me.. whichever fits you best. Ive applied to other stations and havent gotten much of any response from them.. this is the first station thats shown some real interest in me in the 3 weeks Ive been out of work. And no, Im not saying in public where this station is.... some of my close radio friends already know, so if you do know .. keep it to yourself. Oh, and one more thing.. if you have anything negative to say.. just dont and keep it to yourself
