So, Ive heard some recent grumbles about the KU program on Amazon. Most of the complaints being from authors saying its not fair to us authors since we are not getting the full royalty amount out of the program. I see the disadvantages and advantages with the program.......and have yet to come to a firm stance on how I actually feel about it. For starters, writing for me was never about making money. I just want someone to enjoy the story I had so much fun writing. Recouping costs is an added bonus, but having readers experience the novel and enjoy it, is the main reason I started writing. Does it take away sales? Probably. Does it pay fairly? Probably not. But....does it get my book into the hands of people that might not have decided to pick up the novel in the first place? Im betting so. So, to all you KU readers, give one of my novels a one click. Devour the story, feel the characters, and hopefully a smile will emerge on your face once The End is read.
