So Ive lived in Newy for the best part of two decades (minus a stint in the big smoke)... I am one of the few who use the trains from Newcastle station, cutting the rail will slightly impact on me... If developers wont develop till its cut & Hunter Street is the disgrace that it is, I need to know what Im missing... As far as Im concerned, cut the bloody thing and give me a Hunter Street from East to West End that I can take people through as opposed to a wide birth... Can anyone explain to me how keeping the rail will sprinkle fairy dust on the CBD and revitalise it?
