So Ive only had one car in my life, a 99 Volkswagen beetle in wasabi green. Im a little attached to it. It was my dream car, my first car, a gift from my dad, and Ive kept it going 12 years. But when I took it in to get the most recent issue looked at I promised that if it cost more that $1,000, I would let it go. Well, it came to $1,000, nearly to the dollar, so I called up my bosss husband who has been selling cars in Humboldt county for years. What transpired next was just about as perfect as you can make it. I told him Ive been driving a two door. That Id like to have the option of sitting 4 but also to fold down so I can haul if needed. Finally I just said Well, Ive been driving a 99 VW Beetle, if that tells you anything We just got in a beetle. The color might be an issue but its actually an amazing car. He tells me its an 03, kept in a garage with only 37,000 miles on it (exactly the same amount of miles mine had when I got it) Got it only 10 days ago, pristine condition. ... But its green Tomorrow I pick up my new Wasa-green Beetle
