So Ive suffered with psoriasis for as long as I can remember. I had massive red glowing patches on my scalp, legs, knees, thighs, and elbows. Nights of itching and scratching till my skin bled, years of never wearing anything cooler in the summer because everyone could see my patches, I cant even begin to say how embarrassed and conscious of my skin I was. Ive had ointments, lotions, light treatment, steroid cream, all of which has left me with thin, discoloured, and sun spotted skin. But, I can now at 19 years old say that its all gone, and Ive never been happier. Whether it be an age thing, or a change in diet, less stress, I dont know but I have control of my skin back. Despite the obvious patches of pasty white where the psoriasis used to be Im so happy for it to not be a problem anymore. As its a very spontaneous condition with numerous triggers, there is a very high chance it will come back and worse than before but for now I am content and so so happy to announce Im officially psoriasis free 🎉🎈❤️
