So Ive thought about this a lot..... how could talking no make up selfies help in the awareness of cancer, its just a stupid FB game right? Then I was tagged by a good friend Crystal Keller who reminded me that its not what we think or feel that matters, its about those precious people who have lost the battle or who are fighting a new battle against this terrible disease everyday. My mom was as beautiful the day she lost her battle with cancer as she was in this picture. Its not the makeup on our face that defines beauty, its our love and compassion for someone or something besides ourselves! So Im tagging the beautiful women in my life, not to just carry on this silly no makeup selfies, but to be aware of the warning signs and the benefits of screenings and early diagnosis. Lets fight back against this terrible disease!
