So Katie Bug comes to me last night and says she has something for me. She holds out her hand and there is $3.10 in it from her piggy bank. I thanked her but told her that she should keep her money. Red filled me in later. Red and I had talked on the way home from Summer Celebration at Lipscomb how we needed to tighten up our finances for a few months. I have tuition coming up and there are always expenses to her and the kids starting school. Katie was listening and was under the impression we needed money to help make ends meet. We have what we need (we always do) to pay our bills and other expenses. We were just agreeing that since the trip was over it was back to budget time. Bless my little girls generous heart! Shes such a giver and sharer. I pray she never changes (and, yes, she was reassured that God always makes sure Mommy and Daddy has what we need to take care of her).
