So Last week when I was working I saw a homeless guy sitting on the ground in front of this restaurant on 72nd st. So after i delivered mail to the building before it, I went into my pocket and gave the Homeless guy a 5 dollar bill and then went into the restaurant to deliver their mail. I got the nastiest look from 2 guys that were sitting in front of the window eating. They were either pissed off or had indigestion from their food, ::shrugs:: I dont understand why it may seem offensive or shocking to give a homeless person money. In many occasions they need the assistance. And if you saw the bad shape this guy was in, he clearly needed the help. Also the guy was asking for money to buy food, then he was saying food or money. I always try to give when i have something to give. You never know when you need assistance.
