So Long as I Love There are corners of mind that seem so dark of full of fear Cobbed with webs of what seem unclear I still remember the tender in his voice I still recall the fall, how I surrendered it I still can feel it even when life becomes surreal So long as I can touch anothers heart So long as I love So long as I love I discover the freedom In myself I can sense the truth So long as I love I remember the meaning Of my life and those wild moments of youth There was a time when last nights wine was good enough to serve With my heart on a platter as hors douvres I still can see me dancing in the moons light I still can hear him romancing me with delight I still can recite even even after so many years Fading fading fast are the tears I still long to dance So long as I love So long as I love I discover my passion for words As they move from every stage So long as I love I remember their birth upon the page Of my life and times of rage Of that I can not engage There comes a time when trying to define love becomes much too absurd With every poem ever written Trying to find meaning in its every word I still can compose melody in mind I still feel the rhythms what we left behind I still remember winter nights harmonizing by the fire I still have that moment desire So long, so long So long as I love Cjk 2014
