So... Lyric brought home the class gerbil this weekend for the second time (which #ididnotsignupfor... only for the turtles). He was at his dads until yesterday so I figured I could survive one night with a caged furry creature in my house as long as I didnt have to touch it... #yuck ... All is well until we are leaving this morning, Lyrics walking down the steps and the bottom of the cage FALLS OFF........ Shavings everywhere! We cant find the gerbil! Help me Jesus! Help me Tom Cruise! I threw all my stuff down to help him find the thing. Bent over in my dress and cowboy boots screaming like an idiot searching for a rodent. Who would have ever thought... Finally Lyric sees it and grabs it by the tail. He had to hold it while I put everything back together. (Thank goodness he doesnt have a creature phobia like his mom..) He puts it in the cage and says lock him up good! Whew! That could have been a disaster mom! I was thinking it WAS a disaster....Never. Again. #cringe Take the gerbil home they said. It will be fun they said.... -_- We were both pretty traumatized. .
