So M62 to Leeds... M62 back again. We were away hoping to begin davids next cycle of chemo today, but his tests have shown a minor heart problem caused by the chemo, so the consultant is giving David a rest for a week and try again next week. This happens and hopefully he will have full function to begin next week. Christmas at home!! The consultant, Simone, was reassuring and this is just a normal glitch that is part and parcel with what all these kids deal with. Its called a glitch. Davids still smiling... and playing his guitar.... ...and the results from the bone scan are on target! So he will be having an Operation to remove a rib back end of February. This is the point where the bone cancer began. So this will be a big day at the office for David. meanwhile... did I mention Christmas at home? Just in case your wandering, its a pain to go over and back on the M62 like this, it kicks us in the teeth financially, and is tiring and time consuming, but we are more then happy that we are making this journey because the place we go to is the best place for David to be to make his fight. Kia haha everyone... and thanks again for all the love sent out for David and all the kids fighting illness this Christmas. xxx
