So Monday was a really hot, sticky day. I mean, what with the crowds at work and the weather, it was just unbearable. So I got home at 7 oclock that night, and immediately went to sleep. I wake up Brighton awake at the stroke of midnight and immediately think to myself, hey, wow, Im hungry! Lets make some barbecued hotdogs! So I enthusiastically got out the skillet and took my time cooking the hot dogs, taking a full hour just to make sure that the flavor sunk in just as deeply as I wanted it to. By then, of course, it was one in the morning. And immediately I thought to myself, Man, Im going to need something to wash this down. Lets go get soda. So I went across the street all the way over to the store to get some soda, but Coca-Cola back with me, then sat at home enthusiastically watching a movie I hadnt seen in a while while eating my dinner at 3 oclock in the morning I went back to sleep, then woke up bright eyed again at six to get to work. My friend Linda was aghast! Shes all, Craig, why arentyou ever sleeping?! SLEEP! Go to SLEEP! Every morning when I hear from you on the phone, I always get texts from you saying theyre all sent to me in the middle of the night!!! I laughed and said, You sound like my friends from back in the Bay Area. Thats because - for the uninitiated - it was very, VERY noticeable, and one old friend once wrote a public message saying (I remember it all too well), Although it IS assumed that Craig does in fact sleep, none of us can pinpoint exactly *when*. That, of course, is a whole part of why his Stardust Wherewolfe handle fits so well. Like a real werewolf, Craig seems to relish the aura of nightstalker. He loves graveyard shifts, prefers the nighttime to day, he thinks its prettier and more quiet, he thinks cities and towns look prettier at night, he loves stargazing, meteor showers and shooting stars, and he loves keeping up with the phases of the moon, and simply HAS to be outside catching it when a harvest moon is at full orange. Heh heh heh... ;)
