So. My optical drive in my 2009 Macbook Pro is broken. Anyway, I cant afford to fix it, and I really need to update my operating system... since its still on Leopard... Im a little behind, heh... A google search leads me to believe this can be done remotely with the help of another Mac. Anybody know anything about this? Particularly any of my Chicago friends who might be able to walk me through it (and supply the other Mac)?
