So... My posts of the Gay Pride Parade have unintentionally become a very interesting and telling experiment. Just a very few commented or liked any of the shots... I am assuming due to subject matter or fear.. Perhaps misunderstanding... Some simply cannot because those they reside or work near may Shun were it perceived they agree by clicking Like... Fascinating... Truly fascinating. I accept everyones right to their own belief system and opinions as well as taste... and I respect that. What I find interesting is the silent aversion. Even as plain pictures these are interesting and colorful.. Were this Mardi Gras in New Orleans...would the reaction have different? I have met so many that have heard my life stories and said: You have lived a thousand lives... you should write a book... There is a reason I have these stories... I am SO Thankful that I continue to live a life that explores possibilities, directions and cultures both emerging and ancient... My life has never become sedate because I dont tend to make sedate choices... It has its perils to be sure... But the rewards are magnificent. I hope I am remembered by: He was a man who truly lived life ... Dont fear lifes flamboyant and untamed subject matter...Its just life playing itself out... Fear the lack of anything that doesnt stretch your imagination or challenge your thought processes... You may just find that you really do believe .. what you always claimed you believe... Both comforting and frightening at once.... Risk nothing ... Gain Nothing.
