So... My rant for the week begins... Im over the idea of white privilege. This is a fake concocted talking point to brainwash you and make you feel as if you have no chance if your a minority. Whites run the show, so sit down shut up and serve us. Really would you hear that in 2014 and say yessa massa? I didnt think so, what yall are missing is 2 things. First and foremost is personal responsibility. Man up accept that your actions have consequences, weather bad or good your actions provoke actions. And second there is no white privilege, there is on the other hand American privilege, meaning you dont need a silver spoon or white skin to be successful. You actually need , charisma, work ethic, a never ending desire, and sooner or later you will be okay. I say okay because most with the viewpoint of white privilege see success as yachts, hummers, gold and diamonds. Thats so far from what a working class white American is proud to call success. In my house we define our success from working our a$$es off. My wife and I work 400 plus hours a month between the two of us. In that we sacrifice a lot of our time to the prosperity of our family. We are smart with our money, not spending on the latest hype. We protect our credit as its our financial word and we want that to mean something. We save both for a rainy day and our retirement. Does that sound like the life of white privilege? IMO no it sounds like a life of working hard to better my family.
