So, NVIDIA have released their latest graphic cards, the GTX 970 and 980, and have effectively discontinued the 770, 780 and 780 ti models. Both of the new cards are getting excellent reviews and are priced quite competitively, especially the 970. Very enticing. Hussam Raza, I would suggest you hold off your plans for the AMD card, and look out for the 970. The Gigabyte model is priced at 359 dollars, and comes with excellent cooling. Also, one of the good things is that the card eats up just 145w of power, as opposed to 300 or so watts that the R9 290 eats up. Youll be good with a 500w supply even. Check the benchmarks as well. Theyre conducted with the new Haswell-e processors, so results might vary here and there with different processors and games.
