So Officer Wilson faces no criminal charges at the State Level for defending himself. It is my sincere hope that folks take just a cursory look at how many black men die every week at the hands of other black men. I know it makes ME angry. I had inmates tell me Id never think of killing a white person---if you get caught you get more time than if you kill another black. I never investigated it to see if that was true. If it is, THAT makes me angry. I would be a lot more understanding of the outrage of people upset that thousands of young black men die every year at the hands of other young black men than I am about the faux outrage of one black man dying after committing larceny and deciding to punch a cop half his size in the face.
