So, Pug Update - To sum up, LeeLuu couldnt stand or walk so we were off to the Vet. 2 vets and lots of tests later, its a giant cancer tumor and the only way to treat it would be amputation. We did not choose that option. So, the vet recommended an antihistamine and an antacid to keep her comfortable. Oh and pain meds too. From the way she was behaving, we thought it was going to rough week waiting for that moment where wed have to bring her back to the vet and we wouldnt bring her home again. Well almost two weeks later, the Pug Princess is running about, begging for tomatoes and being her normal royal self. Yes, the tumor is still there, its still huge, you can see it bulging out, but her leg isnt swollen and she doesnt seem to be in any pain what-so-ever, occasionally she does seem to be uncomfortable. Shes having a little difficulty jumping on the couch and going up and down the stairs, but I have a sinking suspicion, that its not because she CANT but its because if she whines, a human will come to her rescue. We are still in a wait and see pattern. I think she cant bare to leave her Poppy and the endless tomatoes he supplies.
