So Sterling is banned from the NBA for life...hes 81..nuff said.. Nonetheless..I think they banned him for the wrong reason and waaaay too late...what he said on the recording was basically saying he didnt want his girlfriend associating with black people. .i.e...bringing them to games and what not.... Thats was him saying how he felt about her associating with black guys to be frank! Why u ask? simple..He feels threatened by black successful men! So, my point is, he didnt say he didnt like black people (then)...yes, its implied..but he never said it... Now on the other hand..When the league boycotted and he made the statement that if the black players werent playing basketball and making millions they wouldnt have a job....thats the slave mentality that he should have been banned for! But of course that wasnt recorded...thats why the commissioner was questioned as to why was he tolerated so long! But, at the end of the day...better late than never! Your thoughts.....
