So The Hobbit The Battle of Five Armies On a scale of 5 stars it gets 2 in a half. Want to know why ? Scroll down cation contains SPOILERS !!! So Ofcourse I do not compare The Hobbit series with the Lord of the Rings because it would be unfair. The Hobbit had a great concept to tell the tale of Bilbo Baggins and his adventure before the events in Lord of the Rings however the execution of these films seemed half assed and rushed. However we are here to talk about The Battle of the Five Armies ...more like 3 in a half if you ask me. There were the Elves, Dwarfs and Orcs with some human villagers O___O. The movie started off great with the scene of Smaug the Dragon burning the floating city down and with the bowman taking down the dragon thus saving his people and becoming a hero and also the fight that took place to save Gandolf CAN ANYONE ELSE HERE AGREE WITH ME BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE THAT WAS ABSULOTELY AWESOME !!! The Elves and Drawfs banding together, fighting together to defeat the orcs !!!!! I had goose bumps !!! BUT now even with these amazing scenes and skits it still wasnt enough (for me) to block out the absulotely shit and questionable parts !!! So many things that were left untold. Like what happened when Sarumon thhe white went to confront Sauron ???...or when the elve girl lost her love....or the greedy ugly guy ran away ???There are more but I just cant remember them and also whats with the parts where the try to add humor ??? Also baggins character, what the hell even Legolas had more lines then him. I thought this was the HOBBIT. Well I think Peter Jackson dropped the ball on this and either didnt rewatch his stuff or was rushed to put it out either way it gets 2 1/2 out of 5, why ? For its amazing battles and almost realistic CGI but horrible love story progression, dialogue and overall execution of the actions and or message they were trying to bring around about war and love or some bullshit like that. I want to know what you think ?
