So The New York Times, the dear sweet place which pays my salary, decided to list the longbow as one of historys failures in a recent article. I cannot comprehend the reasoning behind this or some of the other failures they list. I have about 0 influence on the editorial side, but do maintain the comments and would suggest they get some commentary on why this is incorrect from people who know the history of the longbow.
