So, The Red Tent is pretty corny and clumsy at times, with some cringe inducing dialogues. Having said that, it is still a lovely story with a really cool protagonist who is a real survivor, and a rather beautiful heartfelt message about the power of human connection, and the female strength and wisdom in a rough world ruled mostly by testosterone :) First episode is much weaker, but maybe its because it still loosely follows the events mentioned in The Old Testament. The second episode is the writers idea of what would have happened after, so its much more interesting and rewarding. Anyone read the book?
