So... This is where I was sitting 3 1/2 years ago when they came and told me that we had lost Grant... You never think youll have to go back to that place... Ill never forget it... But... Today, after escaping that room and unlodging my car from the parking lot, I cried... All the way home... And now, thinking about how silly I am, the only thing I can actually remember about being in that chair, is the Sister coming in and so gingerly holding my hand and asking what funeral home would you like us to call?... Everything else is a blur... Literally... And, its funny actually... I couldnt answer her, because at that moment I couldnt remember the name of a funeral home... :)... And now that Ive shared it, I can move on... I came, and I conquered the waiting room... With no tears or panic attack!! Now, Im gonna giggle a little bit because Im sure Grant Geurin is enjoying this all a little too much... :)
