So Thomas woke up at 6:00 am with a really bad headache this morning with vomiting. He said it hurts bad in the front of the head where his brain shunt is. I iced his darling little head down and he fell asleep for 2 1/5 more hours. He woke up with a headache but much better headache. The brain surgeons office still wants us to come in today at 3:00 to UofM Mott Childrens Hospital for a brain MRI to check his brain ventricles and brain shunt. We go to the brain surgeons office right after to hopefully hear all is OK and to please go home and relax!...... So asking for a few prayers for him. My little boy is very anxious and scared. He said his headache is now suddenly gone and to cancel the MRI. Sorry sweet boy but mommy and daddy needs reassurance. Thomas had a really bad migraine 2 nights ago with flashes of light and room spinning. That resolved and he was so good yesterday and the surgeons office yesterday morning said to watch him. But now they want reassurance also that it is not his shunt.
