So Titus cultures have come back positive his blood culture has one strain of bacteria in it and his urine has two. They have not fully colonized yet so we dont know if they are the same strain or not. We are hoping they match so we know where its coming from. Drs are thinking it could be possibly steaming from his stint so we will know if we are taking it out early he was supposed to have it out next Friday they are pushing for tomorrow. The bacteria is resilient to anything antibiotic oral wise so he has to have an iv in place. He will be having a few more test done today but basically its just a waiting game to get the infections under control. We are no longer in the picu we have been moved to the normal pediatric unit so thats a plus :-) thank you again as always for the thoughts and prayers!!!!! They keep us going!
