So... To all of you that think their car is safe because it has a car alarm think again!! Cody Hopkinson left his college bag complete with books (that arent cheap) and laptop in his truck. They were stolen night before last from his locked truck parked in front if our house! He talked with the next door neighbor medford policeman and he informed him that apparently as cars have gotten more sophisticated with built in alarm systems so have thieves! There is a device that blocks the alarm system that repomen and towers use and now apparently thieves! He also stated that 5-6 2005 or newer cars have been broken into in the medford area lately!! So... Lesson learned - dont leave anything of value in your automobile -period! Not even hidden in your trunk or otherwise!! They rummaged through his glove box and compartments too!! Ugh! I HATE crooks!!!! :(
