So. Twenty-six years ago today, I was suited up in a type of tux. As Jewish folks do, I entered this one room at the hotel, and met the rabbi and this astonishing, breathtaking vision in white, and we signed the legal documents that in the Jewish religion meant that we were being wed. Following that, its all a blur, though I remember shaking so hard I almost spilled the wine on us. Next thing I knew, we were taking a carriage ride out into the local belt of woods, out in the Chicago suburbs. My new bride, still in her wedding gown, took the reins from the driver... Seems like twenty-six seconds ago. Id do it again in a flash. Im the luckiest man in the world, and today is a day to reflect on that. Thank you, dear. Thank you for all the adventures; all the cuddles; all the talks. We are a team! Love you.
