So... Umm... Thanks to NBC there are now Renfield / Dracula shippers. Theres a flashback of when they first met where Renfield gives this backstory about being a black man and a lawyer in nineteenth century America and a result one of his clients tried to beat him up (and he got arrested for defending himself) causing him to lose his position in his firm. Dracula: I... Too know how it is to be an outsider... For Gods sake, Louis version 2! Anyway... In 1896 (present day in the show, twelve years after they met) he rips apart the people who kidnap Renfield and then carries Renfield home, putting him in his own bed and nurses him back to health. Now there are fans on the IMDB saying things like He might be after Mina for being the look-a-like of his dead wife but its Renfield that he loves. And When the woman torturing him said over and over Who does Greyson love? as soon as he saw Dracula poised in the high window he should have said ME! and Its ironic that they kept asking him who Greyson loves when he was under their loses the whole time.
